Mannan Oligosaccharides (MOS) is an immune polysaccharide present in the cell wall of yeast that regulates the intestinal tract. It mainly consists of long D-mannose chains (main chains) connected by α-(1-6) bonds, short side chains composed of α-(1-2) bonds, and α-(1-3) bonds. The functional oligosaccharide extracted and refined from the cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae can activate and proliferate bifidobacteria and lactic acid bacteria in large quantities, regulate the microecological balance, and is also a high-quality soluble dietary fiber prebiotic.
