Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni, a perennial herb from the Asteraceae family, serves as one of the world’s leading natural zero-calorie sugar substitutes. China ranks as the largest grower, processor and exporter of this crop globally. Its sweet active components are steviol glycosides, primarily rebaudioside A (Reb A) and stevioside. Reb A delivers a flavor closest to cane sugar with minimal bitter aftertaste.
Multiple specifications are available including 80%–95% stevioside, 80%–95% SG and 40%–99% RA. This raw material is widely used in food, beverage and dietary supplement production.
