Okra extract is a natural botanical extract prepared from the mature fruit of Abelmoschus esculentus (Malvaceae family) via water extraction, concentration and spray-drying. Its primary active component is okra mucilage polysaccharides. It also contains various beneficial constituents including flavonoids, plant sterols and soluble dietary fibre.
