Pterostilbene is a type of polyhydroxystilbene compound. It naturally occurs in many plants such as grapes, blueberries and Dracaena cochinchinensis. It was first discovered in red sandalwood, hence the name pterostilbene.
This ingredient appears as white or off-white powder and boasts a wide range of health benefits. As an antifungal active component in dragon’s blood extracts, it also shows positive effects in supporting the management of cancer, high blood pressure and high blood lipid levels.
