Ursodeoxycholic acid, chemical name 3a,7 β-dihydroxy-5 β-cholestan-24-acid, is an organic compound, odorless, bitter taste. It is used in medicine to increase the secretion of bile acid, change the composition of bile, reduce cholesterol and cholesterol lipid in bile, and help the cholesterol in gallstones gradually dissolve.
